| Jim and Sue Martin have been working in the field of Blind Rehabilitation for 24 years. We met in graduate school, where we were both working on obtaining a Master's Degree in Blind Rehabilitation. We were married in 1985 and have worked together for various State, private and now Federal rehabilitation agencies since that time. Jim is currently employed at the VA Medical Center, Southeastern Blind Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He is employed as a Low Vision Therapist. Sue was recently was promoted to the position of Management Analyst, Section 508 Compliance, Office of Information, Veterans Health Administration. She insures that information technology developed by the Veterans Health Administration is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Since we are employed by the VA, we can not provide training to veterans who are receiving services through the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are just starting this consultation service as an addition to our already full time positions at the VA. Therefore, our time for providing our services will be restricted to evenings and weekends.
